The Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) of Pakistan is a constitutional body responsible for recruiting civil servants and bureaucrats for the Government of Pakistan. The Commission is responsible for conducting written examinations, interviews, and professional assessments for candidates seeking appointment to various Civil Service posts under the Federal Government.
The FPSC was established in 1926 under the Government of India Act, 1935. Its current headquarters is located in Islamabad, Pakistan. The Commission is headed by a Chairman who is appointed by the President of Pakistan.
