The National Tariff Commission (NTC) is an independent body that advises the government on tariffs and trade policy. It was established in 1993 and is overseen by the Ministry of Commerce. The NTC provides impartial analysis and advice on tariffs and trade policy issues to the government. It also works to improve Pakistan’s trade relations with other countries.
In recent years, the NTC has been involved in negotiations on Pakistan’s behalf in the WTO and has also worked on free trade agreements with various countries.
